Adoption Searches
Need Medical Information? Want your birth history?
 The Search and Reunion process is provided to all members of the adoption triad. A triad is any member who is associated with adoption. This includes birthparents, adoptive families, adoptees, and sometimes extended family members. People search for many reasons. Not everyone desires to be reunited.
- All services are confidential.
- Search and Reunion counselors are experienced and caring.
- Counseling services are provided throughout the search and/or reunion process.
- Reunification by mutual consent is provided to ensure positive relationships.
- Fees are applicable for non-identifying information and Search and Reunion.
- The first step in the search process is to register with the Illinois Adoption Registry in Springfield, Illinois. You may download registry forms from the following Web site.
